Qadom: Ancient Ruins of Aargh Mod 1.7.2
Let me introduce QADOM. This RPG mod is about additional stats, items, spells and randomly generated structure locations. If you like playing with the Adventure mode, with its additional restrictions on tools, and are geared towards fantasy – you might like this.
Here is a list of all the features:
- XP based leveling system
- Attributes (Strength, Speed, Mana)
- Thirst and encumbrance
- Randomly generated structures (Cities, Dungeons, Graves)
- Bunch of new items and blocks
For each level you need to gain 10XP levels. At 10xp you reach level 1, at 20xp you reach level 2, etc.. so for level 10, 100xp is needed.
If you die then your XP is reset but not your accieved level. For each level you gain one more heart in the health bar.
For each level you can assign one point to one of the following attributes:
- Strength – Adds strike damage and reduces armor encumbrance
- Speed – Increases speed and chance of lockpicking
- Mana – Enables spellcasting
The spellcasting system is built around discovering spell scrolls and books, crafting spells at the altar and then casting them (as a consumbale item).
The structure location generator runs with scripts. Everything is set up there. Users can either just let the default scripts as they are, or add new and modify existing.

The current build is based on Forge 10.12.0.1024
