CastleCraft Resource Pack 1.7.4

The Texture Pack is medieval themed, I know there are many out there, but this isn’t your average medieval pack. A lot of packs concentrate too hard on one area, which can turn some people away. For example, a very ornate texture pack looks very nice, but can turn away pixel painters, or those who wish to stay true to Minecraft roots.
That’s where CastleCraft comes in. CastleCraft’s textures aren’t rebranded defaults, but they aren’t from outer space either. You can go up to a block and know what you’re looking at. Also, wools and other colorful blocks have subtle enhancements to cater to both the medieval designer and the pixel painter.
How to install CastleCraft Resource Pack for Minecraft
In order to use this Resource packs properly you will need to either patch your Minecraft usingMCPatcher or using OptiFine. Optifine is preferred as it includes all of the features of MCPatcher, and greatly increases game speeds and graphics settings. MCPatcher tends to be updated on the same day as Minecraft updates, so use it instead if you are in a hurry.
- 1.Download either MCPatcher or OptiFine. If you downloaded OptiFine, skip to step 3.
- 2.For MCPatcher: Run the mcpatcher-X.X.X.jar file and proceed to click “patch.”
- 3.For Optifine: Install OptiFine like any other mod – By opening minecraft.jar, and placing the .class files from Optifine’s zip file within.
