The Bonus Chest Mod will spawn a chest on a random location closeby to where you spawn in a newly created world. In the chest you will find a couple of useful items such as tools and food.
Bonus chests is actually a feature in Minecraft for PC but as you probably know Minecraft PE is still a little behind in terms of features. But with this mod you can experience bonus chests, very similar to how it’s done on PC.
